Chronic illness really sucks

Chronic illness really sucks because it changes your life and all your what could have been’s away. Life is meant to be lived, and I can say that I do live my life to the best of my ability each and every day. Some days are better than others, yet somehow I still muddle through the bad days knowing that tomorrow may be better.

Chronic illness really sucks but social video apps help

life thankful

This is a good graphic showing Takayasu Arteritis. Also known as Pulseless disease.

Some days I have the energy to type and some days I don’t  I enjoy using the video app’s to talk to people around the globe. I’ve met so many wonderful people there who, like me, suffer with chronic illness. I’ve had the opportunity to share my personal experience and to hear about other’s own personal journey with  chronic pain.

Life leads you down whichever path it thinks it should

I don’t take narcotics to manage my pain because I can’t take them. My arteries go into spasm and I risk having another stroke, as one of the medications did in 2004 causing me to have two strokes. While narcotics might be okay for some, to handle their chronic pain, I am not one of them.

I’ve recently received yet another strange diagnosis for tummy troubles I’ve had for awhile now and which there is no explanation about why I have this. The illness is related to my liver and possibly to the Hepatitis B I was given by my stepfather sexually when I was 12. This diagnosis leaves me very sleepy at times, having trouble with the tummy and generally, just plain sucks.

So right now I am doing what I can day by day. Some days all I can do is chat on the video app’s because chatting doesn’t take too much energy, although I’ve been too tired to be on there for the last two days. Some  days I’ll be able to blog about the important issues in the world and some days I won’t. Until I start to feel better, i don’t know when I’ll be feeling better.

Thank you for being great people and for sticking by me through thick and thin. you really are amazing. Have a super day.
