Eyes of insanity star back at you and give you the absolute chills. I believe the eyes are the windows to the soul and if the eyes seem vacant, than the soul must be empty too.

His choice of weapon, .44 caliber Bulldog revolver. Before Mr. Berkowitz was captured, he sent taunting letters to the police and the media, with the promise of more shootings, causing panic and terror in New York City. The eyes of serial killers, or those with severe mental health issues, are empty. I firmly believe that to know who a person really is, watch their eyes. When they smile, do they smile with their eyes, with no crazy or vacant look or does their smile leave you shivering from the coldness you see in their eyes? I’ve seen a person who had the vacant look and I was terrified. I’ve seen more than one in my life and all left me feeling cold.
I’m sure people trusted these demented people, and that was and is still part of their charm, living or dead. It amazes me that people can support and admire serial killers. Those people tend to have vacant eyes too.
The next time you meet someone, look at their eyes and see if they are who they claim to be. If you get that icky feeling, run away, don’t walk. Trust your gut instinct.
